The game will be available on Xbox Series X/S and PC through Steam, Epic Games Store, and Windows Store. Players can wishlist the game now to get updates on its release.

However, the exact date for early access hasn’t been announced yet, it is expected to last around two to three years, with a full release planned between 2027 and 2028.

Subnautica 2 Multiplayer Mode

Subnautica 2 will have a new four-player online co-op mode where players can team up with friends. This is a big addition to the series. It’s not confirmed yet if players on Xbox and PC can play together, but this might be included when the game launches in 2025.
