Mahendra Singh Dhoni is regarded as the most successful Indian captain as he led his side to all three ICC trophies victory. Though the ‘Captain Cool’ hung his boots in the international arena on August 15, 2020, the nation's favourite still continues to lead his Indian Premier League team, Chennai Super Kings.

Apart from being known for his massive on-field records, he is known for the special bond he shares with his fellow players. The Jharkhand-born celebrated his 42 on Friday. As the 2011 World Cup-winning captain turned a year older, his former teammates, including Virender Sehwag poured heartfelt wishes for India’s favourite skipper.

Former opener Virender Sehwag, who represented India from 1999 to 2013 was a part of the Captain Cool-led 2011 World Cup squad. The cricketer-turned-commentator took to Twitter to wish his ‘top man’ a happy birthday.

Apart from him, India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja who played an important cameo in the IPL 2023 Final and pulled up the winning boundary shot to win his side’s fifth title, posted a special picture to wish his ‘Go to man’ on Twitter.
