After the successful completion of the inaugural edition of SA20, the chapter has now moved towards its second edition which is set to take place in January-February 2024. While the Sunrisers Eastern Cape saw them lift the title in the inaugural edition, they will aim to replicate their performance from that season in the next as well.

The 2024 season which will see the Aiden Markram-led side begin their campaign against the Joburg Super King at the St George’s Park on January 10, the Eastern Cape on Wednesday, 27 September, the side picked their remaining players for the upcoming edition at the Player Auction in Johannesburg.
They picked 20-year-old Andile Simelane as their Rookie Draft Pick for the upcoming edition, Caleb Seleka and Beyers Swanepoel were the other two names added for the 2024 season.
