Rohit Sharma-led Team India finally took off for Brisbane on Wednesday, December 11 ahead of the third Test, set to be played from Saturday, December 14 onwards at The Gabba in Brisbane. As the visitors left the hotel in Adelaide early this morning, they left without opener Yashasvi Jaiswal, who was nowhere to be seen.
With the third Test just round the corner, Team India flew to play in the River City, where they were seen leaving without Jaiswal. As the players boarded the bus for their departure from the hotel in Adelaide, the Mumbai batter was seen checking out late, leaving skipper Rohit Sharma irked.

Interestingly, the bus was expected to begin its journey for the airport at 8:30 am, as per local time, with their flight scheduled for 10:05 am. The Indian cricket team reportedly began boarding the bus from 8:20 am onwards, but interestingly, Yashasvi Jaiswal was nowehere to be seen. As per Ray Sportz Cricket, after waiting for a few minutes outside the hotel gate, Rohit Sharma stepped down from the bus and had a word with team manager and liaison officier.
Soon after a brief conversation, Rohit boarded the bus and left with the team. Jaiswal walked out of the hotel around five minutes later after the bus departed. He later boarded a car along with the security officer and began his journey towards the airport. However, the details around this development aren’t known yet, clarity on the same is likely to come in the coming days.
Speaking of the five-match Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) Test series, the third Test is set to be played from December 14 to 18 at The Gabba. While the Men in Blue won the opening Test by 295 runs in Perth, the hosts came back and levelled the series 1-1 with a 10-wicket win at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide.
