Team India’s ODI World Cup 2023 campaign came to an end with a heartbreak, as the Australian cricket team gave a fatal blow to the hosts to win the title for a record sixth time. While it took time for fans to heal, the cricketing action made a return with Men in Blue engaging in a five-match T20I series in India from November 23.

After the series, the Indian team will travel to South Africa for a three-match T20I series, followed by a three-match ODI as well as 2-match Test series. The tour is slated to begin on December 10, 2023, and will conclude with a Test match on January 7, 2024. After the South Africa challenge, India will host Afghanistan for a three-match T20I series in Mohali, Indore, and Bengaluru on January 11, 14, and January 17, respectively.

A few days after the T20I series, England will tour India for a five-match Test series, which will also begin the World Test Championship cycle. The series will begin on January 25 in Hyderabad and will come to an end on March 11 in Dharamsala. Post the completion of the series, teams will engage in preparations for the T20 World Cup, which is slated to take place in June 2024 in the USA and West Indies.

After the World Cup, India will tour the crisis-ridden Sri Lanka for a six-match white-ball series. India will play a three-match ODI series, followed by three T20Is in July 2024. Later, the Men in Bue will have neighbours visiting for two Tests and three T20Is. Bangladesh will tour India in the months of September and October 2024, where they will play 2 Tests & 3 T20Is in India.

SportsTiger confirms that New Zealand will also travel to India for their three-match Test series in the 2023-25 WTC cycle. The Kiwi are slated to be here in India in the months of October and November, where they will engage in three Test matches across different venues in the Indian subcontinent.

By the end of 2024, India will tour Australia for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, starting November 2024. Earlier, the International Cricket Council revealed that it will be for the first time since 1992 that the Border-Gavaskar Trophy will be played over five Tests in the ongoing World Test Championship (WTC) cycle.
