Tyson Fury’s father John Fury accepted the fight offer from Joe Egan only if KSI agreed to pay him $200K. Fury called out KSI and former sparring partner of Mike Tyson, John Egan after the latter challenged him for a boxing match. While Egan had only four professional bouts with 3-1 during that time, he was hailed as the ‘toughest white man on the planet’ by Iron Mike. While senior Fury earlier didn’t respond to any of his callouts, he took to social media and responded to his fight offer.
In a video posted on his social media, Fury could be heard saying that he would fight him only if KSI paid him $200K. The demand for money goes back to October 2023, when John and KSI agreed around Tommy Fury’s fight, where John bet that Tommy would win. In the video, Fury could be heard saying, “Okay Joe Egan, here is what it is. You are saying KSI is backing you for a million pounds when he can’t pay me $200K he owes me.”
Fury went on to say, “Tell that rat next to you, that pineapple to wire my money across. Once it is in my account then we might think of some business.”
John Fury won’t back out of fight against you: Tyson Fury’s father calls out Carl Froch
Tyson Fury’s father John Fury called out Carl Froch who was critical of his son. Fury pulled out of a fight against Oleksandr Usyk due to a cut above his right eye. Senior Fury posted a video directed towards Froch and said that he won’t back down from the fight. In a video posted on his Instagram, Fury said, “George Groves said something interesting. You and me, Wembley Stadium, 93,000 crowd. I am up for that friend. You have had plenty to say, I stand by what I have said.”
He added, “You don’t like me, let’s see what you can do about it. Get the contracts drawn up and I will fight you in Wembley Stadium this year. Don’t worry, John Fury will not back out with you.”
