Dwayne Johnson, who is better known as 'The Rock', gave a surprise to the UFC fighter Themba Gorimbo, who was facing financial struggles and had only seven dollars in his account before his recent fight. After getting to know his story, the WWE legend and Hollywood superstar decided to lend him help.
Johnson flew to Miami to meet the Zimbabwean UFC artist at his MMA gym. Not only this, but as per the reports, Johnson also purchased him a house in Miami. The heartwarming video of the meet has been going viral on social media, where Gorimbo, who was unaware about anything could be seen getting spellbound as the 51-year-old actor appeared before him.

The video was posted by Johnson himself, and he captioned the video, “We’ve never met but I had to fly to Miami to look this man @TheAnswerMMA in the eyes, hug him and shake his hand. I’ve been moved & motivated by his story ❤️ He recently won his first fight in the @ufc. He had $7 bucks in his bank account when he won. He sleeps on a couch in the gym.”
It further read, “After the fight, he sold his fight gear (trunks & gloves) on line and made $7,000. Instead of using the money to find a place to live, he built a bush pump so his village back in Zimbabwe can have clean water. He never asked me for anything, but I just wanted to help the guy out. $7 Bucks ya know. And I felt the MANA & emotion in every hug 😊Very good and very special day.”
Notably, Themba Gorimbo is a 32-year-old UFC fighter, who was born in Masvingo, Zimbabwe. Gorimbo faced extreme hardship, which forced him to fight for survival after he lost his mother at the age of nine, and his father while he was 13 years old. Gorimbo is coming off a win over Takashi Sato from UFC Fight Night 223.
