Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag broke his silence on the absence of Jadon Sancho and said that the team is in good spirits to play their next game. Jadon Sancho has been banished from the team after Hag accused him of lying in a Twitter post over him being dropped from the squad after their loss from Arsenal in the Premier League by 3-1. While the first few questions of the press conference revolved around Sancho, the Dutchman overlooked his exit from the team.
Speaking of the 23-year-old forward, Hag said that the team is in good mood and are looking forward to taking on Brighton on September 16, Saturday. Though he didn’t take the footballer’s name, in a video posted by Football Daily, the Man United manager could be heard saying, “I think everything is said [about Sancho]. As I said, the squad is strong, good spirit, good mood going into the game.”

Hag went on to say, “They (the players) are very good because you sometimes have setbacks in seasons, players are injured, other reasons, they are not available, therefore you construct a squad. The squad is very good and the players are motivated to give a good performance.”
A report by The Athletic stated that the club were all set to let go of on the back of his social media outburst. The reports further revealed that Saudi clubs were asked for at least USD 81.3 million. However, if latest developments are to be believed, the footballer will look forward to leaving the club in the January transfer window.
