Football legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic gave a rousing speech in the dressing room after AC Milan won the Italian Super Cup. The side took down arch rivals 3-2 to lift the Cup for the first time since Vincenzo Montella’s side in 2016-17. Not only this, but it was Milan’s first trophy since winning Serie A in 2022. Milan came back from two goals down to beat the rival and take the silverware home. Rafael Leao came off the bench and helped in all three of Milan’s goals, which came from Theo Hernandez, Christian Pulisic and Tammy Abraham.
After the game, legend Ibrahimovic gave a rousing speech in the dressing room, which went viral all over the social media. Zlatan, who called it quits on his career at the end of the 2022-23 season, stepped into the advisory role at Milan. It goes without saying that his presence has been helping players on and off the pitch. It was Milan’s 50th title in their history.

After the side won the Italian Super Cup, Zlatan said, “We have reached one of our aims. What we wanted was a reaction. This is our reaction, guys!” He heaped praise on head coach Sergio Conceicao and his staff, and said, “Great work in just a few days. “Luckily, he had a fever. If not, he would’ve broken more than a TV.” Not only this, but Zlatan also lauded the team's hunger for the win and continued, “You sweated to win this, made sacrifices, were hungry.”
He continued, “When a team has a desire to win, it is hard to be beaten. You showed that today. At the start of the season, I said to you: It all depends on us, because it is all in your heads. You showed that today. Guys, this is AC Milan.We play for these trophies. If you want to go down in AC Milan's history, you need to win titles.” Notably, this is AC Milan’s first Super Cup title since 2016 and their eighth overall.
