Indian top-order batter Virat Kohli is considered one of the biggest sporting icons in India. Kohli has millions of fans and hence his word holds a lot of weight in the country. Hence when King Kohli followed MTV Hustle contestant MC Square, the world took notice.  But the bigger surprise for MC Square, whose real name is Abhishek Bainsla, was when he got a special message from Kohli.

Banisla has been a big Virat Kohli fan and opened up about his reaction in a recent interview with Hindustan Times. Abhishek revealed that he was over the moon when he got the message and then later his friends and family members told him that the former Indian captain was following him.

He said, “I was quite surprised when I got to know that I had received a DM from ‘the Virat Kohli’. I have been following his journey from a long time and hold him in very high regards. I was quite surprised when I got to know that he has followed me on Instagram. My friends and family are the ones who told me about it. This was the moment that I realised that I have achieved something big.”

MC Square, further in the interview, talked about how achievements like these hold a lot of value in his life but they don’t pressurize him to be someone else.

He said: "I don’t feel pressurised when something like this happens. A lot of people watch the performances and I am happy to just know that they have been supporting me and relating to the kind of rap or music I have been making. I just want my music to reach people, irrespective of what state they belong to or what kind of people like my rap. I just want to create music that people relate to that engages them."

Apart from Vira Kohli, stars like Anushka Sharma, Gauahar Khan, Ishaan Khatter, Riteish Deshmukh, Nargis Fakhri, Tanmay Bhatt, and Chitrangda Singh have also shared about their favourite contestants on Instagram and Twitter from the show.
