The bond between the Mumbai Indians players which can be seen far from being inseparable. Another instance of the same was visible between Dewald Brevis and Tilak Varma. While the South African cricketer video called Varma after the latter made his T20I debut against West Indies, it was Tilak Varma who did this time.
On Monday, just minutes after South African batter earned his maiden national call-up he was video called by Varma, who recently finished his tour of West Indies. Varma congratulated Brevis for his national call-up for the ODI and T20I series against Australia.
Taking up to Instagram, Tilak Varma shared a screenshot of his video call to Brevis with a caption, “Congratulations on your call up brother! So happy and proud of you.”
Notably, the Proteas are set to play Australia at home in three-match T20I followed by a five-match ODI series, starting August 30 in Durban. While all the three T20Is will be played in Durban on August 30, September 1 and 3 respectively, the ODI series will begin on September 7 with the first two matches being played in Bloemfontein, followed by a match each in Potchefstroom, Centurion and Johannesburg.
