Asia Cup tournament had 15 different editions starting from 1984, have produced a lot of stunning performances with ball over the years from different generation of players. The 16th edition of Asia Cup is just about to start in a period of two weeks, hence before that here we will revisit some of the top five bowling performances in an Asia Cup edition.
1. Kapil Dev in 1990/91 Asia Cup
Kapil Dev was the leading wicket-taker (9) of the 1990/91 Asia Cup edition. That Asia Cup edition saw only three teams (IND, SL, BAN) participate in that tournament and Kapil Dev, who managed to play only three games, managed to pull off 9 wickets in that tournament in an incredible fashion and helped India lift their third Asia Cup title.
