This summer, the Bulls acquired forward Torrey Craig to bolster their frontline defense. Unfortunately for Craig, Andre Drummond is presently sporting the No. 3 jersey and Craig attempted to buy Drummond's No. 3 from him, which led to a humorous exchange.

At the beginning of his career, Torrey Craig wore the number 3. But as he shifted from various teams over the last few years, unexpected circumstances forced him to change his number. The 32-year-old veteran recently signed a contract with the Chicago Bulls, and it seems that having his old number back was the first thing on his list of priorities. Sadly for him, things did not turn out as imagined.

Craig contacted big man Andre Drummond, one of his newest colleagues, to ask about obtaining Drummond's uniform number, No. 3, for the upcoming season. A hilarious interaction between the two Bulls followed.

Craig made Drummond an offer of $500 for No. 3, to which Drummond quickly responded, "No chance." He did, however, add that he might agree to the idea if Craig could persuade Coby White to give Drummond the No. 0, which he wore with the Detroit Pistons and Brooklyn Nets.

Then Craig recommended that Drummond go to position 00, but Drummond objected, saying that would be like instructing Craig to move to position 33. Craig immediately made the distinction that No.33 belonged to Scottie Pippen and that the number is retired to honor him.

The Chicago Bulls had a somewhat forgettable 2023 season as they finished in 10th position in the Eastern Conference table, missing out on a spot in the playoffs. The squad and Billy Donovan will be hopeful for a different result after the brand-new signings.
