Veteran Kiwi pacer Trent Boult is now back at Mumbai Indians as the five-time champions roped him in for INR 12.50 Crore in the IPL 2025 mega auction. Boult was a part of Rajasthan Royals from IPL 2022 to 2024, before he was released by the franchise ahead of IPL 2025 players retention. Now, the left-arm pacer will be seen playing for MI again after three years.
Trent Boult was a part of MI squad when the franchise won its fifth IPL title in 2020. The Kiwi pacer played a crucial role in MI’s title triumph along with Jasprit Bumrah picking up 25 scalps in 15 matches.
