India and Rajasthan Royals leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal shared an encouraging post on social media as he continues to push for a comeback on the national side. After missing out on major tournaments like the Asia Cup and ODI World Cup this year, Chahal was touted to be part of the T20I series against Australia.

But as the squads were announced, Chahal once again missed out on a Team India spot as the management. Hence, the leg-spinner is part of the Vijay Hazare Trophy, India's premier List-A tournament, where he plays for Haryana.
Chahal had an incredible bowling performance with a six-wicket haul in Haryana's easy win over Uttarakhand. After this effort, the leggie shared a quote on social media speaking about how warriors are made by overcoming challenging situations. The post said, "To hold it together when everyone else thinks otherwise, that's the true strength o f a warrior" and had the caption " See you at work."

Talking about the VHT 2023 fixture, Ashok Menaria's Haryana had a great bowling effort as they bundled out Uttarakhand at 207. Chahal, with his 6-26, was the pick of the bowlers while Sumit Kumar and Rahul Tewatia, picked up two wickets each. Then with the bat, crucial knocks by Yuvraj Singh, Ankit Kumar and Menaria carried Haryana to a six-wicket win.
