Amazon-owned streaming platform, Twitch recently announced dates for its 2024 conventions across Europe and North America. Notably, this announcement was made amidst the ongoing financial concerns ongoing at Twitch due to recent layoffs.
Speaking of the TwitchCon 2024, while the Europe edition is set to take place on June 29 and 30 at the Rotterdam Ahoy in Netherlands, the North American leg will be held from 20 to 22 September 2024. Moreover, the Europe edition will mark its first in Rotterdam with reports further adding that the event will also be held in Netherlands in 2025 and 2026.
The TwitchCon North America 2024 will return to the San Diego Convention Centre after being relocated to Las Vegas last year. While the North American edition will be held from 20th to 22nd September with San Diego confirmed as the host city until 2028.
In 2023, the TwitchCon was held in Paris on 8th and 9th July at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, while the Las Vegas leg was held from 20th to 22nd October at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
