The 2022 FIFA World Cup runners-up, France are set to open their UEFA Euro 2024 Qualifiers against Netherlands on Friday, March 24 at the Stade de France in Paris. Ahead of the qualifiers, Les Bleus named Qatar World Cup golden boot winner Kylian Mbappe their captain while the Dutch side suffered a big blow as star midfielder Frenkie de Jong will miss their opening two matches due to an injury.

Didier Deschamps' team and Ronald Koeman's side are placed in the Group B alongside Gibraltar, Greece and Ireland.  While France and Netherlands will face each other in their opener on Friday, Les Bleus will travel to the Aviva Stadium to face Ireland while the Orange will host Gibraltar in Rotterdam  on Monday .
