Manchester United to take on Sevilla as UEFA announces quarter-final draw for the Europa League 2022-23. The Round of 16 of the UEL recently ended with tournament favourites Arsenal suffering a shock loss to Sporting Lisbon. The Premier League leaders went down in penalties to the Portuguese side after Pedro Goncalves' half-line screamer.

The first quarter-final for the 2022-23 season will see English football giants Manchester United take on another Spanish opponent Sevilla. The second quarterfinal will see Italian royalty Juventus taking on Arsenal slayers Sporting Lisbon. The third quarterfinal fixture will be a northern European affair with Germany’s Bayer Leverkusen taking on Belgian club Union SG. The fourth quarter-final will see Italian greats AS Roma facing off against Dutch league leader Feyenoord.

These quarter-final games will be played across two legs in the month of April. The Leg 1 matches are scheduled for Thursday, April 13 and Friday, April 14. Then second Leg will take place on Thursday, April 20 and Friday, April 21. 


Further during the announcement of the draw, UEFA also released the schedule for the semi-finals of the tournament. The semi-final will be played between the winner of QF 2 Juventus or Sporting CP. and QF 1 Manchester United or Sevilla. Whereas the second semi-final will be played among the winners of QF 4 Feyenoord or Roma and QF 3 Bayer Leverkusen or Union Saint-Gilloise.
