The UFC fight on July 15 between Rafael dos Anjos and Vicente Luque has been postponed to August 12. Originally this featherweight fight was going to headline the UFC fight night. The reasons for the postponement of Rafael dos Anjos vs Vicente Luque is still unknown. The promotion has acted immediately roped in Holly Holm to face Mayra Bueno Silva in a bantamweight main event on the UFC’s July 15th card.
Dos Anjos (32-14) was looking to keep himself in the win column after previously submitting Bryan Barberena at UFC Orlando late last year. Inconsistency has plagued Dos Anjos as he has lost two of his last five fights. Vincente Luque is currently on a streak of two straight losses. In his last fight, held in August 2022 at UFC on ESPN 40, he lost to Jeff Neal by knockout in the third round. Luque in total has 21 wins and nine losses under his belt.
