Israel Adesanya, the reigning UFC Middleweight Champion, has a documentary film, named “Stylebender,” which premiered at Tribeca Festival on June 11, Sunday. The Nigerian-New Zealander combat sports athlete revealed the news earlier through his Twitter account with a telling caption, “My life is a movie.”

Notably, in the main event of UFC 287, at the Kaseya Center in Miami on April 8, Israel Adesanya knocked out Alexsandro Pereira of Brazil in the second round of their middleweight championship bout, to win back the title once again. With this massive victory, he avenged his three prior losses against the Brazilian fighter in two separate promotions.

Yesterday evening, the 33-year-old UFC fighter shared a picture about the release of his documentary film “Stylebender” on Twitter with a statement, which read, “This film will showcase sides of me never before seen. I am a very private person with my personal life, so being vulnerable on here hits different. Can’t wait for yous to see it xo”

On the latest edition of “IMP A ULSIVE” with Logan Paul on June 6, Israel Adesanya talked about “Stylebender” in detail. He was quoted as saying, “It's coming out in [the] Tribeca film festival, June 11. It's a documentary about my professional life so far and a little bit of my childhood. I've watched the film twice now.” Adesanya also went on to mention to Paul that his documentary film will appeal to both genders while reiterating that men need to see it.

The director of “Stylebender” is Zoe McIntosh, famed for The Deadly Ponies Gang in 2013 and Dark Tourist in 2018. It is produced by Fraser Brown, Leela Menon, and Tom Blackwell.
