It is not new to see MMA giants leaving the octagon and entering the squared circle. Throughout history, the WWE Universe witnessed several UFC giants gracing the ring. Ken Shamrock, Matt Riddle, and Ronda Rousey are some of the UFC all-time greats who got over well in the WWE ring. However, the fans are now keeping an eye on Nate Diaz.
However, the former UFC Heavyweight Champion, Chael Sonnen thinks that WWE will never let Nate Diaz enter the ring like some of his peers. Speaking on his channel, Sonnen revealed that the WWE is doing this only to tease the audience.
"You're never going to see Nate Diaz do anything with the WWE. Never. Not something that's paid. They might give him a ticket, they might flash the camera to him but that's not paid, that's not a contract.", said Sonnen.
Recently, the buzz between Nate Diaz and WWE has grown immensely. Especially, after ‘The Stockton Slugger’ posed with Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, and Nick Khan.
The WWE Universe would love to see the prizefighter inside a WWE ring, as his brashy behavior will surely be loved by the audience.
Chael Sonnen called WWE “the scum of the earth”
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Sonnen boldly claimed that WWE is “scum” but they know how to garden more attention towards themselves. He also revealed that WWE is already turning heads posing with Diaz.
"The WWE is the scum of the earth. But they are very good at getting attention… They got the headlines, they got the dialog, it cost them a grand total of nothing. You don't have any star that's ever gone to the WWE that you were told ahead of time. It's on the moment, it's live, it's a surprise."
Sonnen might be right about WWE not having anything to do with Nate Diaz. However, the biggest wrestling promotion on the planet is also known to garden more audience by having one-off celebrity matches, Floyd Mayweather is the perfect example of this.
