UP Yoddhas were among the four new teams that made their debut in the Pro Kabaddi League in its fifth edition in 2017. Since then, they have reached the playoffs six times, but are yet to win their maiden Pro Kabaddi League title. Now, UP Yoddhas will be finally looking to get ahead in the upcoming season and emerge as champions of the Pro Kabaddi League 2024.
UP Yoddhas had a forgettable season last year when they finished 11th in the points table with just four wins in 22 matches. UP Yoddhas picked a variety of players in the 2024 Pro Kabaddi League auction. Their highest buy in the auction was Bharat Hooda for whom the franchise spent ₹1.3 crore. The Uttar Pradesh based PKL franchise also added some star players in their squad including Bhavani Rajpu, Sahul Kumar, and Mahender Singh.

UP Yoddhas PKL Records
UP Yoddhas started their journey in the Pro Kabaddi League in 2017. They reached the Eliminator where they ended up losing against Puneri Paltan in a close encounter. They reached the playoffs for five consecutive seasons, but didn’t have a great outing the last edition.
