A new year has arrived and has also brought a lot of joy for esports fans in the country. While Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) is touted to make a return this year, there are several tournaments and events lined up involving different combat and royale battle games. Upthrust Esports will be organizing several top-tier tournaments, invitational competitions, and even a celebrity charity event in 2023. The organizers have revealed a full-fledged roadmap for 2023 and it looks exciting.

Pro Showdown 2.0 and Ranbhoomi 2.0 headline the list of tournaments and events which will be organized by Upthrust Esports in 2023. Meanwhile, the third season of Survivors Throne and Gaming Fest will also be organized. The second edition of India Rising will also be organized this year.

Check the full list here:

Pro Showdown 2.0: The first season of this invite-only tournament took place last year featuring 24 of the best BGMI teams from across the country along with a total prize pool of INR 10 Lakh. However, New State Mobile can be the title this year with no clarity on BGMI’s return.

Ranbhoomi 2.0: The grassroots-level tournament will be returning 2023 after a year’s hiatus. Notably, Ranbhoomi Season 1 featured a total prize pool of INR 10 Lakh and took place across three weeks.

Diwali Battle 2023: The last season featured a total prize pool of INR 30 Lakh and was primarily an invite-based tournament which was split in two different stages, each carrying its own portion of the prize money. It will be on the cards again this year.

Gamers On Ground: The charity event featuring some of the top gaming creators from India will once again be played this year. While football was the sport last season, a different game can feature this year.

Survivors Throne Season 3: Three seasons of this IP have been previously held by Upthrust Esports featuring different mobile titles every single time - PUBG Mobile (May 2021), Free Fire (December 2021), and BGMI (February 2022). If it follows the previous trend it could feature a new title, maybe something between Pokemon UNITE and New State Mobile.

Gaming Fest Season 3: With an aim to push gaming titles that are not too popular in the country, Gaming Fest will also be organized later this year.

India Rising 2023: This will be the second year for this IP. The last one hosted an open-to-all BGMI tournament with a total prize pool of 15 lakhs.
