The doubles duo of Mathew Ebden and Rohan Bopanna have reached their second consecutive Grand Slam semifinal after beating Nathaniel Lammons and Jackson Withrow 7-6 (10), 6-1. Bopanna and Ebden saved three set points in the first set before single-handedly carving their path to victory in the second game. The Indian-Australian duo also reached the semifinals at the 2023 Wimbledon but lost to Wesley Koolhof and Neal Skupski.
Bopanna will look to reach the second major final of his career, with his first coming in the same tournament in 2010. Bopanna is already out of mixed doubles contention after a second round defeat with Indonesian partner Aldila Sutjiadi. The India-Australia pair will be up against sixth seeded Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Nicolas Mahut, who beat American Robert Galloway and Albano Olivetti from France in the other quarterfinal.
