Pakistan spearhead Shaheen Shah Afridi is plying his trade with the Welsh Fire in the ongoing Men’s Hundred competition. Known for his variations in bowling, a video of the veteran is now doing rounds on social media.

An instance of the same was visible during The Hundred match between Welsh Fire and the Southern Brave. Reckoned as the best while bowling with a new ball, his fierce pace was caught in helmet camera during the Hundred match. In the video, Shaheen bowled a short-pitched delivery to Finn Allen, who responded with a reverse scoop to counter the delivery, going for a boundary over short third man. Video of the same is now doing rounds on social media.

Talking about Shaheen Afridi’s performance in the Hundred 2023, he has picked six wickets so far in five matches. However, in the match against Southern Brave, he failed to pick a wicket, but restricted the side to a low score of 88 and helped his side defend the target.
Talking about his role in the Pakistan colours, Shaheen Shah Afridi has been named in the 17-member squad for the Asia Cup. He will also feature in the three-match ODI series against Afghanistan, set to be played in Sri Lanka from 22-26 August.
