India’s star batter Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma are believed to have rented a flat in Mumbai’s Juhu. The couple known for their love of being close to nature has paid a good amount to get a hand on this sea-facing property. Kohli and Sharma will be paying a rent of INR 2.76 Lakh per month to rent this 1650 square feet flat.
The flat is situated on the fourth storey of the High Tide building owned by Samarjitsinh Gaekwad, a former cricketer and member of the Vadodara royal family. According to reports, Virat Kohli made a deposit of INR 7.50 Lakh during the registration process, which was carried out on October 17. The couple also had recently acquired a lavish farmhouse in Maharashtra's Alibaug, for almost INR 19.24 Crore.
The star Indian batter who had a terrific outing at the recently concluded T20 World Cup 2022 is enjoying a break with his wife. Kohli and Anushka were spotted in an Ashram in Uttarakhand where they spent time with the locals and also clicked pictures.
Talking about Kohli’s outing at the T20 WC, the batter amassed 296 runs in six innings with the help of four half-centuries. Kohli ended the tournament as the highest run scorer. He also became the batter with the most runs in the biennial event. He surpassed Sri Lanka’s Mahela Jayawardene. Kohli also completed 4000 runs in T20Is. Although India failed to make it to the final, Kohli had a great tournament.
The batter will be next seen in action in the Bangladesh series where the Men in Blue will play three ODIs and two Tests. While the three ODIs will be played on 4, 7, and 10 December, the two Tests will be played on 14-18 December and 22-26 December. Alongside Kohli, senior players KL Rahul and Indian skipper Rohit Sharma will also be back in action who have also taken a break from the ongoing New Zealand tour.
