The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is all set to announce the squad for the 50-over Asia Cup 2023. As per reports, the Indian board will announce the Indian squad in presence of Ajit Agarkar on Monday, August 21. Just as the players await the announcement ahead of the continental tournament, some of them have already resumed practice.
Among many is Virat Kohli and Indian skipper Rohit Sharma. Recently, Virat Kohli is practicing in India ahead of the two major cricketing tournaments, took to Twitter to flaunt his all-new look. The former India skipper took to his Twitter to share his new hairstyle which also saw him with pierced ears. The picture in no time has gone viral and has garnered more than 50.5 K likes in less than an hour.
The stalwart of the game, Virat Kohli recently completed 15 years of international cricket on August 8, after making his international debut against Sri Lanka on August 18, 2008. As of now, the cricketer has smashed 25,582 runs across 501 appearances.
The cricketer will be seen in action at the upcoming Asia Cup. While the tournament will kick start on August 30 in Multan, the Men in Blue will be in action on September 2 as they take on arch-rivals Pakistan at the Pallekele International Cricket stadium in Kandy.
