Pakistan's star pacer, Shaheen Shah Afridi, who was in absolute red-hot form during the high-voltage clash between neighbouring nations and cricketing arch-rivals on September 2, said that he enjoyed Rohit Sharma's wicket more. Pakistan took on Rohit Sharma-led team in the third and India's season opener in Asia Cup 2023 on Saturday. After the completion of India's innings, Afridi said that he enjoyed dismissing Indian skip Rohit Sharma more than Virat Kohli

Afridi conceded 35 runs in the match, and after the completion of Men in Blue's innings, he said that though both Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are same for him, he enjoyed the Indian leader's dismissal more. The 23-year-old said, "Virat Kohli & Rohit Sharma are same for me but I enjoyed Rohit’s wicket more."

Afridi, who suffered an injury during the season inaugural against Nepal, went completely destructive during the match, and ended up scalping four crucial wickets of the seven-time Asia Cup winners. India's superstars, including the likes of captain Rohit Sharma, iconic batter Virat Kohli and star all-rounders, Hardik Pandya, along with Ravindra Jadeja, were the names who fell prey to Afridi's explosive skills.

Notably, the Men in Green dismissed the entire Indian team in 48.5 overs, and the scoreboard, after the last wicket fell, read 266. On Indian side, Hardik Pandya remained the highest-scorer as he managed to contribute 87 runs off 90 deliveries in a rain-interrupted game.
