India’s batting icon Virat Kohli continued his struggle with form during the stimulation match against India A. Notably, after three days of intense training sessions Down Under, the Indian team engaged in an intra-squad practice match against India A a few days ahead of the Border Gavaskar Trophy opening match 2024-25. The closed-door match at the WACA in Perth saw Kohli's struggle to regain form.
During the match, the iconic batter was dismissed cheaply for just 15 runs as he was caught at second slip off Mukesh Kumar. During his knock, the 36-year-old played two cover drives. However, right after his dismissal, the Indian batter headed straight to the nets and trained hard for almost half-an-hour. Notably, Kohli has been going through a slump in his performance, which combined with India’s batting inconsistencies has been a matter of concern for fans and pundits alike.
