However, his return continues to be the talk after he along with Rohit Sharma requested the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for a break from white-ball leg, especially in regard with the upcoming South Africa tour, the Indian batter meanwhile is enjoying the time in London with his family.
The 35-year-old was spotted enjoying the festivities in London. A fan also took to social media to share pictures and video of the couple with daughter Vamika with a caption, “Met @virat.kohli today, it was great honour and lucky to spent great time with him.It was an absolute delight surprise and happy to meet King with his family @anushkasharma”.
The couple is among the most loved celebrity duo in the world of sports as well as Bollywood industry. Additionally, the couple is rumoured to be expecting their second child. A source told Hindustan Times, “Anushka is expecting her second baby. Like the last time, they will formally share the news with the world at a later stage.”
Virat to return for two-match Test series against South Africa
The Indian batter however will miss the white-ball leg of the South Africa tour, he will return in the Indian colours for the two-match Test series, set to be played from 26-30 December and 3-7 January 2024.
