The auction for Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 was conducted on 23 December in Kochi. The ten franchises came to the auction table with limited purse amounts. But SunRisers Hyderabad had a whopping 42.25 CR in their purse and they made good use of it. While they started their day by spending 13.25 Cr on Harry Brook, SRH were a bit cautious after that. When the list of uncapped players came, SRH were back at it as they made a series of purchases. Among them was also Vivrant Sharma who fetched a massive 2.6 Crores.
