AC Milan defeated Inter Milan in the final by 3-2 at Al-Awwal Park in Riyadh on Tuesday, January 7 to clinch the 2024-25 Supercoppa Italiana. After the win, AC Milan players went wild while celebrating the title victory in the dressing room. In a viral video, the players from The Red and Blacks can be seen grooving while celebrating in the dressing room along with the Supercoppa trophy. In a thrilling final, Inter Milan were looking set to clinch the title after taking a lead of 2-0 at half-time, but AC Milan made a sensational comeback in the second half to script a thrilling victory in the final.
For Inter Milan, Lautaro Martinez and Mehdi Terami scored goals in the 45+1 and 47 minutes respectively. After that, Theo Hemandaz scored the first goal of the match for AC Milan in the 52nd minute. Christian Pulisic levelled the score between both teams with a goal in the 80th minute as AC Milan headed towards a great comeback. After that Tammy Abraham struck in the final moments of the match as AC Milan went on to register one of the thrilling victories to clinch the 2024-25 Supercoppa Italiana title.
AC Milan coach Sergio Conceicao flaunts dance moves in dressing room after SuperCoppa win
During the celebrations in dressing room, AC Milan's new head coach Sergio Conceicao was also seen flaunting his dance moves along with the players. Notably, Conceicao replaced Paulo Fonseca as association football manager of AC Milan on December 30, 2024. Notably, the Portuguese football manager was sacked after a six-month stint with the club due to inconsistent form.
Coming just a few days before the final, Fonseca’s country mate Conceicao had a great start of his stint as AC Milan coach as the club registered big wins against Juventus and Inter Milan in the semi-final and final respectively. Now, AC Milan also won the Supercoppe title under him.
