Afghanistan placed a target of 130 runs for Pakistan in the Super Fours fixture at the Asia Cup 2022 on Wednesday. Pakistan skipper Babar Azam was dismissed in the first over while Afghanistan batter and vice-captain Najibullah Zadran got second success for his team by picking Fakhar Zaman's wicket through a run-out.

Pakistan skipper Babar Azam continued his lacklustre performance in the ongoing continental showpiece as he departed on a golden duck in the opening over. Afghanistan bowlers also dismissed Pakistan opener and in-form batter Mohammad Rizwan on a low score of 20 runs.

During the first delivery of the fourth over, Mujeeb Ur Rahman bowled a full-length delivery and Fakhar played it towards the extra cover to take a quick single. However, Zadran charged at the ball and made a direct hit towards the bowler's end to dismiss Fakhar Zaman who was batting on five.
