Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant was furious at himself after getting out against the Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2 024. Bowling first, the Capitals got off to a brilliant start but failed to finish the first innings well as Riyan Parag powered RR to a total of 185 runs. The 22-year-old smashed 85 in 46 balls with seven fours and six sixes as he continues his resurgence in the IPL.
Then with the bat, the Delhi Capitals also had a great start with Mitchell Marsh and David Warner scoring quick runs. But the fall of back-to-back wickets brought Rishabh Pant. The Delhi captain rotated the strike but didn't get going.

Feels good to play 100 matches: Rishabh Pant
This also was Rishabh Pant's 100th IPL game and expressed elation about this achievement. Speaking at the toss, Pant said, "The wicket looks fine and we want to use it, there might be some dew in the 2nd innings."
"Feels good to play 100 matches for the same franchise, but every game is important for me. Most of the concerns are regarding injury, but these are things you can't control. Two changes for us - Ishant hasn't recovered, Shai Hope has a back spasm. Anrich Nortje and Mukesh Kumar come in."
