The rain-affected T20I between South Africa and West Indies was witness to a brilliant catch by fast bowler Anrich Nortje to dismiss Johnson Charles. Chasing 132 in 11 overs, Charles was the aggressor for the Windies as he smashed 28 in 14 balls. Controlling this Calyspo onslaught, Tabraiz Shamsi started off the sixth over well and gave just three runs in three balls.

Then on the fourth ball, Charles took an aggressive approach and smashed Shamsi's short delivery towards long-on. Here, Nortje, using his presence of mind, caught the ball, then tossed it up, before going over the ropes and taking it again to complete an important dismissal.

But this catch wasn't enough for South Africa as they went on to lose the game by three wickets. For the West Indies, captain Rovman Powell stepped up to carry his team with a blistering 43 in 18 balls with five sixes and one four.
Talking about the game in the press conference, Powell reflected on his team and his individual performance against the Proteas. He said, "Had an honest talk with myself after the way I got out in the ODIs. A lot of guys in the team are used to the T10 format. The ball flies here and 130 is gettable."
"A lot of shots we played, but there's still a period where we have to push it around. Can't always hit good international bowlers for 6 6 6. Have to do the basics well. Important to get wickets with the new ball - that's the only way you'll stop a strong SA lineup," he further continued.
