Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards is all set to debut the Adidas AE 1 against the Phoenix Suns. After the immense popularity of the original Adidas AE 1, the brand is coming up with a new low-top variant, which would be customised especially for the playoffs and summer courts. Going with the lines of AE1, the AE 1 Low variant will have a sleek silhouette and will have a black upper.
In a video posted by Adidas, the shoes have a honeycomb-like texture with Edwards’ initials on the tongue tag. The shoes have Adidas’ iconic Three-Stripe logo on the rear heel. They come with special boost and light strike technologies, especially combined for cushioning and energy return. The shoes are expected to be launched soon and they will be available at selected Adidas Basketball outlets.

Anthony Edwards expressed his excitement about getting featured alongside Stephen Curry in the 2024 Paris Olympics. Curry is one of the 12 players to be named in Team USA’s squad for the 2024 Paris Olympics. The team has names like LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Anthony Edwards, and more.
Speaking to Complex Sports, the Timberwolves star wing said that he is excited to play with Curry, Durant, and James in the upcoming tournament. Edwards said, “It will be super fun, man. I will get to play alongside my favorite player of all time which is Kevin Durant. Also, I get to play alongside LeBron [James], Steph Curry, all the goats, man. It should be fun.”
