The entertaining IPL 2023 fixture between Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings was witness to a stunning catch courtesy of Atharva Taide to dismiss Suryakumar Yadav. SKY after some poor performances returned to form and scored a stunning half-century with some of his trademark shots.

But as the 18th over neared its end, SKY tried increasing the scoring rate and tried whipping the ball towards the leg side.  Fielding at mid-wicket, Taide was ready as he plucked out a stunning catch outstretching at his left.

Then in the 19th over of the game, MI needed 31 runs off the last overs and Tim David smashed Nathan Ellis for a massive 114m six over  mid-wicket. With a few singles and doubles, the five-time IPL champions needed 16 runs in the last over. With momentum with Mumbai, the chase seem on but Arshdeep Singh had other ideas.

The India international gave away a single on the first ball before getting in two back-to-back wickets on the next two balls. These two dismissals ended all of MI's hopes as they fell short by 15 runs and lost a close match.  Reacting to this performance,    Arshdeep Singh spoke about he kept his calm and proceeded to do his job for the team. He said, " Feels good whenever I take wickets. Right now I feel even happier as the team won."
"I have shortened my run-up as it helped me with the no-ball problem and I am enjoying my cricket at the moment. Danny (Morrison) you should come and stand next to me (when bowling the final over), the heartbeat is not even close to 120," he further continued.
