Australian team, led by Mitchell Marsh, had a clean sweep against Scotland in a three-match T20I series. The Aussies won the first T20I by a margin of seven wickets and went on to win the second and third by 70 runs and six wickets, respectively. The lop-sided series that once again proved Aussies’ dominance in world cricket ended in laughter, but due to a completely unexpected reason, the trophy.
A funny incident happened after the 2021 T20 champions recorded a series win over Richie Berrington’s side. The Australian cricketers were left in splits after closely looking at the trophy they received for winning the series. Marsh was handed a special mini-bowl as the trophy, which is a Scottish souvenir that is used to hold whiskey through which traditionally everyone takes a sip. The team was surprised to see a small “cup” being handed to him, and left everyone in laughter.

Would be nice to have all the Scottish people on board with us when we take on England.”
