On Sunday, March 30, the Delhi Capitals (DC) are taking on Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam in IPL 2025. For the unversed, Pat Cummins-led SRH won the toss and opted to bat first. However, this decision did not sit well with them seeing their past records as they were restricted to 163 in 18.4 overs.
While Aniket Verma played a 41-ball 74 to help the visitors get to a decent score, Mitchell Strac was the wrecker-in-chief for the Delhi-based franchise as he completed a five-wicket haul, his first-ever in T20 cricket. Coming in to bowl the 19th over, Strac took the remaining two wickets in his penultimate over to restrict SRH to a below par total.

On the second delivery of the 19th over, which Starc opted to go full, which Harshal Patel gave a charge and drilled to the left of mid-off region. Patel, who was stationed close by, raced one way a little towards left and went in-air to grab the ball and complete a stunner.

Starc, however, conceded one run off the next delivery, a brilliant catch from Faf du Plessis decimated the SRH to 163 with the Aussie bowler completing a fifer. On the fourth delivery of the 19th over, the on-strike batter in Wiaan Mulder was shaping for a drive, but ended up skewing it in the air over extra cover. Faf sprinted to cover the line and completed a sitter with both hands.
