Ayush Badoni, who plays for Lucknow Super Giants in the Indian Premier League, showed his super fielding skill while playing against UAE in the Emerging Asia Cup on Monday, October 21. While fielding at the long-off, Badoni flicked a diving catch, dismissing UAE's Jawadullah. The crucial part was taken during the last ball delivery of the 15th over when the UAE tailender Jawadullah lofted the ball long-on. Ramandeep Singh took his second wicket as Badoni showed off his aerobic act to his right, resulting in a stunner catch. UAE were bowled out for just 107 in 16.5 overs, while Jawadullah was out for just 1.
This stunning catch by Ayush Badoni was further complemented with a win against the UAE as India A dominated the Emerging Asia Cup series. The match that was held at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground also saw Abhishek Sharma's all-around skill helping his team surpass Pakistan with two wins from two games and take the lead in Group B.

India extend win streak with victory over UAE
India A's team showed off its skill by dominating UAE and taking over the victory by 7 wickets. Abhishek Sharma returned to his form and contributed with the bat and the ball. But it was his bowling that initially established the tone for India A's dominant display. Abhishek hammered 58 in 24 balls, followed by Ayush Badoni, who finished the formalities of chasing down a mark of 108 with a six and four. Even though there were still 55 balls to bowl, India prevailed.
In what was a wicket-maiden over, the 24-year-old produced a pivotal session, taking out UAE captain Basil Hameed. The bowlers from India A were unrelenting, limiting the United Arab Emirates to a respectable 107. With a 3/15, Rasikh Salem was strong, and Ramandeep Singh was equally remarkable with a 2/7 spell. India currently hold the top position in the Group with four points. It will face Oman in the final group game on Wednesday.
Speaking of Badoni, his recent promising games are certainly going to help him get retained by LSG in the upcoming IPL auction. During his incredible 55-ball 165-run innings in the just-finished Delhi Premier League match, Badoni hit a record 19 sixes.
