Pakistan captain Babar Azam was spotted asking Indian batting great Virat Kohli for a signed jersey after the Men in Blue registered a massive seven-wicket win in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023. Bowling first, Team India got off to slow start but soon managed to break through thanks to Mohammed Siraj.

But with Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan's Pakistan found their back until Kuldeep Yadav and other Indian bowlers got to work and ran through the batting line up. With each bowler picked two wickets each, India bundled out Pakistan at 191. Then in the second innings, the Men in Blue cruised through the total with ease. After the match, Azam was seen interacting with Virat Kohli and later asked the Indian for a signed jersey.

Talking about Pakistan's performance, Babar Azam said, "We started well. Good partnership between me and Imam. We wanted to play normal cricket (me and Rizwan). Suddenly we had a collapse and didn't finish well. The way we started, wanted to target 280-290. With the new ball we are not up to the mark. The way Rohit is playing - he played an outstanding innings."
