Ahead of Pakistan’s T20 World Cup 2024 opener, their skipper Babar Azam has found himself in hot waters. The Pakistan top-order batter caught eyeballs during their practice session in USA when he allegedly fat-shamed his teammate Azam Khan. The Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter has received a lot of backlashes for his poor performances at the recently concluded England T20I series.
Khan, who is often been subjected for his physique, was once again targeted by his teammate. The young batter, who is often considered unfit due to his healthy physique was called out “genda” by Babar Azam during their training session, video of which is going viral on social media. However, the son of former Pakistan captain Moin Khan did not react much on the comment by his captain.

Azam Khan deletes social media posts amid brutal trolling
The Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter who has been under the radar for his physique, recently opted to take a break from social media. In the recent gesture, the 25-year-old deleted all his posts, including photos and videos from his account amid the brutal trolling from the fans online.
The keeper-batter is currently in USA for the T20 World Cup 2024 with the Pakistan men’s cricket team. The Babar Azam-led side are placed in Group A alongside India, Ireland, Canada and co-hosts USA. The Men in Green will open their campaign against USA at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas on June 6, Thursday.
