Cricket is often considered to be a funny game because of some bizarre incidents which take place in match. The game might see a pitch invader sometimes, it might also seem some players playing some weird shots, which might be one of the very kind. The ongoing Vitality Blast is one such tournament which see some such incidents which might leave people in splits.
One such was seen during the Vitality Blast match between Hampshire and Sussex. On the final ball of the tenth over of Sussex inning, Hampshire wicketkeeper Ben McDermott was involved in a bizarre stumping which saw the ball deflect from his legs to hit the stumps. The incident saw Sussex lose the wicket of Michael Burgess who was had stepped out of the crease, missing the ball in the process.

Talking of the match, Sussex had earlier won the toss and opted to bat first. With regular breakthroughs, the Hampshire bowlers bundled out the Alsop-led side at the score of 144/10 in 18.5 overs. Later, wicketkeeper-batter Ben McDermott and skipper James Vince helped their side win the match by 10 wickets on the back of their unbeaten knock. Notably, it was also the first-ever win for Hampshire in the T20 Blast history.
