India A is touring Bangladesh for two unofficial four-day Tests. The first of which got underway on Tuesday at the Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium in Cox's Bazar. India ended Day 1 on top as Saurabh Kumar and Navdeep Saini combined to break Bangladesh's spine. While Saurabh took four wickets, Saini dismissed three Bangladeshi batters. Mukesh Kumar, meanwhile, took two wickets and helped India A bundle Bangladesh for 112.
Abhimanyu Easwaran and Yashaswi Jaiswal piled up on Bangladesh’s misery as India A opening pair stitched a century partnership. The pair also had luck in their favour as Easwaran survived a close run-out call. In the ninth over of India A's innings, Easwaran pushed for a quick single after fending off the delivery from pacer Khaled Ahmed. But the fielder stationed at mid-on quickly sprinted, collected the ball and threw it towards the non-striker's end, dislodging the bails.
However, the on-field umpire did not look convinced and adjudged the batter not out. But the Bangladesh fielders looked unhappy and they were right in doing so. As the replays were shown on the big screen, it was found out that Easwaran was inches short of his crease. But as the decision was already made, Easwaran survived.

Things got worse for Bangladesh as Jaiswal and Easwaran continued to capitalize on the start they got. The pair resumed their 120-run partnership and kept adding runs to take their partnership over 250 runs. Both batters have already scored centuries and are still at the crease. Meanwhile, India have extended their lead by over 140 runs.
Talking about Bangladesh's innings, Mosaddek Hossain was the lone warrior for Bangladesh as the batter scored 68 runs. Najmul Shanto (19) and Taijul Islam (12) were the two batters who scored in double digits for Bangladesh.
