Team England is preparing well for their upcoming Test series against Pakistan. The Ollie Pope-led team is currently in Abu Dhabi playing a practice game against England Lions. While the batters enjoyed batting on the flat deck of Tolerance Oval, it was not easy for the wicketkeepers with the ball doing some trick after pitching, especially for spinners.

But as has been the case with Ben Foakes, the England wicketkeeper was at his absolute best as he made stunning saves from behind the wicket. On top of that, Foakes also affected a brilliant stumping to leave everyone stunned. As Will Jacks was bowling off-spin, the ball was doing enough to trouble the batter.

On one of the deliveries, with the ball turning sharply, the England wicketkeeper did a great job to get a hold of the ball. He made it even better as Foakes flicked the ball back onto the stumps seeing the batsman well outside the popping crease.

Coming back to England’s batting, Ollie Pope led the team from the front as the batter scored a 120-ball 146. Zak Crawley and Will Jacks also made handy contributions. While Crawley was run out four runs short of his century, Jacks scored a 48-ball 84. Ben Foakes also scored a handy 48 (62).

Meanwhile, the good news for England was that their premium pacer Jofra Archer was back bowling at a good pace. Playing for the England Lions, Archer bowled nine overs wherein he conceded 38 runs but could not take a wicket. However, Archer knocked Crawley’s helmet once with a sharp bouncer.
