Even as there are many Rishabh Pant fans around the world, the wicketkeeper batter did not feature in Team India's Playing XI for their first four matches at the ICC Men's T20 World Cup in Australia. While Pant did get a chance in the team's last Super 12 fixture against Zimbabwe, he failed to make it count and got out for just 3 runs off 5 deliveries.
Although the team management and captain now have a tough job on their hands to decide their 11 for the semifinal against England and whether to stick to Pant or go back to Dinesh Karthik, an old video of the cricketer, presumably from an earlier game in the tournament has surfaced online.
In the said video, the fan can be seen teasing Pant who passes by the boundary ropes by shouting "Bhai Urvashi bula rahi hai." The Delhi Capitals skipper can be seen responding to the fan's provocation in the following video.

For the unversed, Pant and Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela were rumoured to be dating back in 2018. However, of late they were involved in an indirect social media tussle. It all started when Urvashi referred to a Mr "RP" in her interview and Pant took to his Instagram stories to provide his version of the entire incident.
Hinting at Pant, Urvashi had said in this interview that "RP" waited for 10 hours just to meet her.
"It’s funny how people lie in interviews just for some meager popularity and for hitting the headlines. Sad how some people are so thirsty for fame and name. May God bless them “merapichachorhoBehen #jhutkibhilimithotihai," Pant had responded to the claims through an Instagram story.
Later, Urvashi too responded to Pant's story where she stated: "Chotu bhaiyaa should play bat ball…main koyi munni nahi hoon badnam hone with young kiddo darling tere liye #RAKSHABANDHAN mubarak ho."
