England leg-spinner Adil Rashid was involved in a bizarre run-out against Sri Lanka in Bengaluru. The defending champions had another horrid performance with the bat as England were reduced to 137-8 with the Lankan bowlers running through. After this massive collapse, Adil Rashid faced six balls as David Willey managed to score a few boundaries.

Then on the last ball of the 32nd over, Mahee sh Theekshana sent out a delivery that was called a wide. As the umpire gave his decision, Rashid wandered out of the crease. Spotting this mishap, Sri Lankan captain Kusal Mendis used his presence of mind to hit stumps and dismiss Rashid at a score of two.
