Mumbai Indians all-rounder Cameron Green completed his maiden T20 century to help beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by eight wickets. After a decent bowling effort, the Mumbai Indians went all gun blazing chasing the 200-run total.  But as Ishan Kishan got out early, Cameron Green walked out to bat in the fourth over and quickly got to scoring.

After scoring a boundary on the first ball of his innings, Green was hitting all around the Wankhede Stadium. The Australian reached his 50 in just 20 balls and constructed a massive 128-run partnership with Rohit Sharma. Then in the next 27 balls,  Green reached his century and carried MI to a massive win.

For Mumbai Indians, this was the team's second century of the 2023 season after Green's batting partner today, Suryakumar Yadav achieved the feat against the Gujarat Titans. Reacting to this performance, Green spoke about how batting with Rohit Sharma helped getting going in the early moments of his innings.

He said, "It was a great partnership with Rohit. He's so experienced in IPL. Having his leadership at the other end really helped. The whole MI setup has been awesome, getting really well looked after. The intent at the top, it helps when you have guys like Ishan and Rohit in front of you and SKY after you. We've got Polly (Pollard) as well to help me. That's a pretty good set-up. When we had about 20 to get, I said SKY to finish it. Then we had a couple of runs left, we just trickled over the line."
