Out of favour West Indies all-rounder, Carlos Brathwaite recently featured in a domestic cricket league, the Max60 Caribbean 2024. Brathwaite, who was seen plying his trade for New York Strikers in the T10 league, was seen bringing his anger and frustration out after his controversial dismissal during the Qualifier 1 between Strikers and Grand Cayman Jaguars.
The match, which was held at George Town, saw Brathwaite smashing his helmet out of the park, resorting to the act of his controversial dismissal. Joshua Little bowled short on the second delivery of his over, which hit Brathwaite’s shoulder before being caught behind the stumps. Although the ball didn’t make any contact with the bat, but the umpire was quick to raise his finger over an appeal for a caught behind.
This left Brathwaite fuming in anger while walking back to the pavilion. Lashing out his anger, the Windies all-rounder hit his helmet out of the park using his bat as he neared the dugout, video of which is going viral on social media.
