Cristiano Ronaldo-led Al Nassr beat Al-Shabab in the Kings Cup on Monday night, 11 December by 5-2 margin. The Portugal international also scored his 50th goal of 2023 during his side’s win in Kings Cup. The 38-year-old’s milestone goal unfolded in the 74th minute where he executed a one-two with his Portugal teammate, Otavia.

Moreover, what followed after netting this goal was an all-new celebration form CR7. While his celebrations have been wildly reckoned around the world, especially the iconic “Siuuu” with several sports personalities from across emulating it, soon after scoring at the Kings Cup on Monday, he did a small jump and going for a high five, he just did a thumbs up.

While Cristiano’s goal gave a 4-1 lead to Al Nassr, Seko Fofana, Sadio Mane, Abdulrahman Ghareeb and M. Maran were among the others to get the ball at the back of the net in their 5-2 win.

The 38-year-old after taking Al Nassr into the semifinals of the Kings Cup for the second consecutive year, setting a stage of redemption after losing to Al Wehda last time, took to Instagram to share a positive message. He announced his 50th goal in 2023 in the video post, captioning, “Great victory and I’m thrilled to announce my 50th goal in 2023, all thanks to the unwavering support of my teammates, fans, and my family! ��� There’s still room for a few more this year”.

It is to be noted that out of the 50 goals in 2023, 40 have come in Saudi Pro League, while the remaining 10 have come while representing his national side, Portugal. He recently celebrated his 1200th professional match of his career with a goal and an assist during Al Nassr’s 4-1 win over Al-Riyadh.
